A pool deck chair at a resort takes more use in one July than a residential chair sees in five years. Before you specify, walk the checklist we walk with every contract client.
Material first. Grade A teak heartwood, hand-woven HDPE wicker, or powder-coated aluminum — all engineered for continuous exposure. Ask every vendor what happens in year five, not year one.
Fabric grade. Solution-dyed acrylic only. Our Nurture program is sewn in North Carolina with Sunbrella® fabrics chosen for hospitality turnover — reversible, replaceable, reorderable in the same colorway for the life of the frame.
Hardware. Stainless steel throughout, including the fasteners you can't see. Hardware decides how long a piece lasts under daily rearrangement.
Serviceability. Cushions and slings should replace without replacing frames. Frames should refinish rather than retire. Confirm the line will still be in production when you need year-three replacements — our longest-running pieces have been reorderable for over a decade.
Logistics. US-warehoused inventory and a quick-ship program mean opening-day dates hold even when a container doesn't. Ask us about container programs and contract specification through your Royal Teak dealer.
