Inside the 2026 Collection: Three Drawings, Twelve Months

A collection is decided on paper long before it is prototyped in teak.

Hamptons, the deep-seating collection arriving late 2026, spent the better part of a year as drawings. Seat heights argued in quarter inches. Back angles mocked up in cardboard before a single board was cut. Lead designer Leigh Barron drew, redrew, and rendered each piece to scale so the first prototype would arrive as a faithful translation of the studio's intent — not an approximation of it.

Hamptons came from a porch brief: a higher back, a deeper cushion, proportions drawn for the way people actually sit on a summer evening.

Between first sketch and released drawing, the collection crossed the studio wall a dozen times — to the partner factories, to dealers who will specify it, and back. The drawings that survived that conversation are the ones now being built. You can see them, plate by plate, on The Studio page — and reserve the collection through your dealer ahead of the late-2026 arrival.
